Dear everyone,
This week I am reading the book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by Lyman Frank Baum. The book has already been made into a movie in 1939, but I would choose different actors and actresses from today instead of the actors and actresses that played the characters in the past. The movie would probably be even more of a hit today than it was years ago because of new technology and ideas.
I would choose Colbie Callet to play Dorothy because of her fantastic singing voice and her kind disposition. There are several songs in the film that she would be great at singing. I would cast Johnny Depp as the Cowardly Lion because he has experience in dancing and is great at acting. For the Tin Man I would choose Brad Pitt becuase then the movie would appeal to more people. Finally I would choose John Mayer because he has a great singing voice and is also very athletic so he can move around easily.
After I finish The Wonderful Wizard of Oz I only have to read one more book! If anyone knows any good Biography or Memoir books, please let me know! Once I finish my forty books I plan on reading any other great reads so please recommend some.
