Children of the Lamp: Book 1

Dear everyone,
     This week I am reading Children of the Lamp: the Akhenaten Adventures by P. B. Kerr.  It's a great book so far and reminds me of the Lightning Thief books.  It is about kids who are djinn, or genies, and they have just discovered their powers.
     If I were to pick one character from the book to meet, I would choose Pilippa.  She and her twin brother are the main characters in the story.  If I would meet her, I would ask her if she likes being a twin.  I would guess that her response would be something like "It's nice to have someone to relate to and to hang out with all of the time, but it does get a little annoying when people ask us if we are sure we are twins." I would also ask her if knowing that her mother is a djinn makes any difference in her relationship with her.  She would probably say "It would have been nice to know about it a little sooner, but now I can ask her about any problems I have with being a djinn."  Another question I would ask is whether or not she will treat her dogs the same way, now that she knows that they are her uncles. "I will probably feed them more food from the table so they don't miss people so much.  I also now know how they know how to change the channel on the television." That is what she would probably say.  The last question I would ask her is what she will do with her power now that she has it. She would most likely say, "I will try to use it for only good deeds and will probably use them to do the most simple things that people wouldn't think about normally."
     I have to read two more books! I plan on reading the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, but I still need one more Biography.  I anyone knows of one that is not too painful to read, please let me know!
